Yes, I just posted a patch unrelated to your issue.
I will make another patch that incorporates Benno's code, but also extensively
rewrites VIASave and VIARestore functions inside via_vgahw.c.
Again, I did this independently between July to early September 2015 because I
was trying to fix LCD screen loss after standby resume bug.
After that, I will move into trying to remotely figure out what is causing
OpenChrome 0.3.3 to fail with VX855 chipset along with fixing other bugs of
OpenChrome.
