I tested the patches using the Git commit
47060a3d770b90ed96924b4260dce38bdafedfde as the head (Type: "git log").
I applied all 8 patches in a row, and none of them returned errors.
Based on the error message you got, I suspect you have more then two patches
named 0004-*.patch in your xf86-video-openchrome directory (folder).
You should clone the current OpenChrome image in a new fresh working directory
so that you do not have older patches you got previously from Xavier or me
because this can cause confusion.
I will replace patch 6 and 7 shortly since I made small improvements that will
resolve an issue I was aware of.
