Something's going on here.
What I'm doing is, booting Puppy till it dies, then putting the SD Card I'm
using into my laptop, after removing it from the IDE adapter.
The next time I boot, I get a bunch of "no space left on device" messages and a
kernel panic, and after that it doesn't seem to want to write to the card any
more.
WTF...?
Might ask my local guru dude about this as well.
