Unfortunately, HDMI is not support while the driver is in UMS mode, and all you get when starting X is a black screen. You'll have to either use the VGA port, or look a this page for direction on how to setup KMS : <a href="http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Openchrome/TtmGemKms/" target="_blank">http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Openchrome/TtmGemKms/</a> KMS is still a work in progress thought and it still has a number of limitations.
