True. However with this color stuff, one issue is that none of us can
really understand everything from end to end, and so the online
cocktail party serves to raise awareness of the issues upstream and
downstream of our personal projects and expertise.

And by the way, if you want the role of Color Czar for Linux, you get my vote.
