The cairo and pixman patches I wrote are not suitable or intended for
merging. I wrote the patches as a quick and dirty means of testing the
API I proposed to see how well it would work with applications such as
inkscape and poppler. The patches were not posted for review. They were
posted any case anyone wanted to experiment with the API.

The first step would be to get some sort of cairo cms API approved. Then
the implementation can be discussed. As I've moved on to other things I
no longer have time to work on cairo (other than the occasional bug
fix). So if anyone else wants to pick this up they are more than welcome.
