I would suggest contacting the maintainer of your distro's valgrind
suppressions pile. There are tons of these in libc, and I'm not sure
you'll get much response from upstream.

For example in Fedora:

$ locate valgrind | grep \.supp
...
/usr/lib64/valgrind/default.supp
...
