of course you can keep your linux version, you don't need to switch to
fedora. Package names vary accross distributions, in synaptics you
might want to search for libglib2-dev or something similar. Usually,
the package xx-devel is called xx-dev on Debian derivates if it's a
software, or libxx-dev if it's a lib.<br>
