</div>What's the use case? I must admit that I quite like the "deep<br>
integration" of PackageKit into the desktop, and I think exposing it<br>
as one giant application detracts from the fact it's a framework for<br>
other applications use.<br>

</div>Being honest, I don't think a poll would work. You might get a few<br>
people to agree, but unless there are developers there wanting to make<br>
an AppCenter clone I don't think it work.<br>

If you're going to think about UI (and it's great that you've started<br>
btw) have a look at these people:<br>
<a href="http://www.packagekit.org/pk-profiles.html" target="_blank">http://www.packagekit.org/pk-profiles.html</a> and think about how they<br>
want to get a specific task done. People don't sit down and "manage<br>
packages" they want to draw a cartoon, print a docuemnt, or play a<br>
media file. Package management is just the bit that gets in the way.<br>
