Error in pkg.m4

Hi everybody,

I think I have found an error, please check the attached patch.

I noticed a bug, when autoconf looks for pkg-config, it finds it, but
then at the time it tries to look for a module it fails as if
pkg-config was not found.

These are the versions I'm using:

autoconf-2.60
m4-1.4.1

I think those are the only relevant.
