Compile probem

Several questions:
1) Which software platform are you compiling on? A Linux distro, one of 
the BSDs, something else?
2) Which compiler and which version is cc? Is that just gcc, or is it
something more exotic?
3) Is that an unpatched version of pkg-config downloaded from
http://pkgconfig.freedesktop.org/releases/ ?
