| Question: how to disable using by pkg-config other paths, than
| explicitly defined in PKG_CONFIG_PATH variable ? Or, may be, other
| way to disable use host-based *.pc files ?

Use PKG_CONFIG_LIBDIR instead of PKG_CONFIG_PATH (eventually, you'll
be able to use PKG_CONFIG_SYSROOT instead, but that's broken at the
moment).

UNIX is user friendly, it's just picky about who its friends are
