          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: cairo backend
        AssignedTo: poppler-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: carlosgc at gnome.org

Bug forwarded from Evince: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503038

"pdf annotator is a windows based software that lets tablet PC users to redline
pdf documents with stylus. I have many redlined documents but evince renders an
opaque white layer in front of original text around redlined areas. It is very
annoying and I wonder if it can be fixed. Kind regards, Koray.

Here is a document sample that I can't see properly:
http://pekericli.googlepages.com/Navon2006a_mkp.pdf"

It looks like a problem with transparencies. I can confirm it's only
reproducible with the cairo backend.
