The document is broken. It says in "187 0 obj" that the font is of type
TrueType when it is really of Type1. This results in the font rendering code
getting confused and the characters don't show correctly. This can be
workarounded with some heuristics, but as the faulty rendering is because of
the document being broken it is not really my priority at the moment.
