Thanks for sending it. I now made several tests with the PDF:
1. Even the actual acrobat needs 10-12 seconds to render it.
2. If You told, it took 43 seconds, You probably rendered it with 150 dpi? Or
as Your former atom really so slow?
3. When I rendered it with 24 dpi (the PDF has a really huge output size of
43,31 x 35,24 in, so render it with 24 dpi still has 1040 x 846 pixels, which
should be sufficient to view it unzoomed) it took only 5 seconds.
Ok, the PDF has a lot of small graphic elements, so we need some time (s.
acrobat), and when zooming it propbably only the visuable section should be
rendered to speed it up, but more or less I think that the time is acceptable
for such kind of PDF.
