Could you please explain that thought process? If not, might you kindly provide
those of us reading through this bug with a link to the mailing list arguments
you referred to 4.5 years ago in <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=25240#c1">comment #1</a>?
Much to my joy, I've recently discovered qpdfview
(<a href="https://launchpad.net/qpdfview">https://launchpad.net/qpdfview</a>), but I'm rather dismayed that it's unable to
use Cairo. I'm not the only one with such dismay:
