<pre>I'm not saying it is or not the correct way to disable assert, i'm just saying
it may also disable other stuff.
Also NDEBUG is already defined in release mode, isn't it? Do you really need a
debug but with no debug mode? Or maybe NDEBUG in release only happens in cmake?</pre>
