<pre>I recently became aware of this patch set, and I would love to see it included
in the main qt4wrapper distribution.
I fail to see how inclusion necessitates dependencies because, as we say in
software, all problems are solved by abstraction. If "purists" don't want Cairo
dependencies, make it a compile-time option to enable dependencies on the Cairo
backend :-)</pre>
