Right, poppler is that Okular uses, but not what KPDF uses.

Well, i can see no more than 2 persons speaking one and another one that 
voted.

We try to do backends as better as possible but we are not as good as we would 
want, i can point you documents where the Splash renderer is better than 
Cairo and ones where the Cairo renderer is better than Splash, help is always 
appreciated, creating a PDF renderer is not easy.

It's a known problem? Yeah somewhat, but if you file a bug it will be 
written :-)

Has it priority in MY todo list? None

I can't tell anything about other poppler devels of course. And as i already 
said more helping hands are always welcome.
