[poppler] Which build system: Autotools or CMake?

Hello,

I'm a newcomer. I'd like to do some hacking with poppler (I will tell
later what feature I'm interested in, first let see if I get inside
the code enough) but I'm not sure about the build system: it seems
that both Autotools and CMake are supported (atm only CMake works
perfectly, Autotools seems broken in latest git), which should I
prefer while playing with the code?
