Had a look at the code and yes it uses poppler-qt and imho it is mostly 
useless since all it does is render the page to a bitmap and put it in a krita 
layer. 
I seriously doubt there are much real use cases for that.

Anyhow, as I said this is old code so use old poppler with it.
