Hi, which version of the pdftohtml package did Poppler take in? I've compared the output of pdftohtml .40a, .39, and Poppler's pdftohtml and it appears that Poppler uses a version that is more similar to .39. I've found that .40a works better at removing shadowed text (although .40a did have some more bugs). As far as I know, the only versions of pdftohtml out there are.. .40a - <a href="http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=45839&package_id=203871" target="_blank">http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=45839&package_id=203871</a> .39 and below - <a href="http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=45839&package_id=38602" target="_blank">http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=45839&package_id=38602</a> And, of course, Poppler's.
