I guess I still have a lot of reading to do... it should be pretty obvious I am completely new at this, any direction or advice anyone has I would greatly appreciate. Also, I don't see how I can, but if there is any help the project needs that I can offer, I would be more than willing to help. I got ridiculously quick and helpful repsonses that required people to spend their own time to work on MY PROBLEM... I only hope that at some point I can provide someone else with a similar experience.

Thanks to all.

> From: aacid@kde.org
> To: poppler@lists.freedesktop.org
> Date: Fri, 17 Dec 2010 18:56:51 +0000
> Subject: Re: [poppler] Win32 poppler-qt4
>
> A Divendres, 17 de desembre de 2010, Pete Lindsey va escriure:
> > I have no problems sharing my code, though I doubt anyone will use it, I am
> > just trying to put together an app that lets me do book marking and
> > linking on PDF documents that doesn't actually change the pdf document
> > (uses a database instead) and allows for multi target urls to be drawn on
> > the actual interface...
>
> It's not that we want your code is that you have to follow the licenses of the
> other software you use.
>
> > but I am pretty sure you are not allowed to sell anything that is open
> source
>
> Check your sources, you are totally allowed to sell anything that is open
> source (for most definitions of open source, that is).
>
> Albert
>
> >
> > > From: aacid@kde.org
> > > To: poppler@lists.freedesktop.org
> > > Date: Fri, 17 Dec 2010 08:50:01 +0000
> > > Subject: Re: [poppler] Win32 poppler-qt4
> > >
> > > A Divendres, 17 de desembre de 2010, vàreu escriure:
> > > > Hmmmm, generally I thought that it meant that if you use the library
> > > > you have to include the libraries' GPL license and not sell any
> > > > software based on that code...
> > >
> > > According to most people (i.e. i'm not a lawyer and this is not a legal
> > > advice) it means any software using GPL libraries has to be under the GPL
> > > too.
