[Portland] Unregistering handlers

Hi,

Is there a way I can un-register the default handler for a mime-type.
(i.e. I am uninstalling the application and want to remove the current
application from the default.)

 

How can I register an application as a handler for a mime-type but not
as the default handler i.e. so that it can show up in the  "open with"
menu. Is this supported by the xdg-utils?

If not, are there xdg specs for these use cases?
