We have a post http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=612606 in Ubuntu -
Programming Talk, where poster claims there is gaping problem in "Pulse
Audio" library: "exit() in a shared library".

I don't use this app, and last time used C was 15 years ago, so sorry I
did not entered better bug description. But I do care about posts
suggesting that "peer-reviewed" software is inferior, unreliable and
cannot be trusted, as this poster claimed repeatedly in Ubuntu Forums. He
also refuses to post bug report about this issue, as repeatedly suggested.

So is "exit() in a shared library" a real problem, or is it just
blabbering of a sophisticated troll whining about Free Software?

Can you please post answer also into Ubuntu forums? I don't want to start
shouting match with him (I already did once, no thanks :-) ), answer from
someone with authority would be preferable.

Sorry as I don't use this library, I have no idea what component it is,
more info about the bug could be inferred (and asked) in ubuntu forum
 thread linked above.

Thanks you for working (for free) on Free Software!
