 it seams that Audacity is trying to use ALSA's dps1 plugin but have format
 issues when trying to open a link to PulseAudio, but i am not sure !

 here is some lines from the debug console:

 PulseAudio:

 i filled in a bug report earlier on Fedora's bugzilla:
 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=449012
 when i thought it was a simple matter :-)

 i wonder if this could be solved without the need to write a PortAudio
 driver
 as i requested in http://www.pulseaudio.org/ticket/300 .
