 Hi,

 I can confirm the problem : streaming to the Airport will skip every 1/2
 seconds. The behavior is the same independantly of the network load.

 I experienced the issue on a Wifi network, and on a 100 mbit ethernet
 network with no other hosts connected. I was not able to make the system
 work reliably.

 Disabling local devices sharing, and access to remote pulseaudio devices
 didn't help in my case.
