 It's a wiki.... feel free to make the changes. This is due to patches from
 Fedora's Kevin Koffler (going from memory so the name and/or spelling is
 almost certainly wrong!) to make the portaudio libraries alsa subsystem
 not rely on mmap IIRC. This patch has been included in Fedora, Mandriva
 and will be in the upcoming Ubuntu too I believe.
