#467: padsp does not honor 'default' Output Device selected via PA Volume Control

  Priority: normal | Milestone:
 Component: padsp | Severity: normal
Resolution: | Keywords: default sink

Comment (by tcwan):

Hmm. I see. So how do I manipulate the default output sink for a
particular application? It seems to be 'stuck' to whichever device it used
 in the past.
Either that or how to reset/clear the existing settings.

This appears to be the case after I create a 'combined' sink as the
default to channel sound to both the onboard device and the USB speakers.
Now Rhythmbox would only recognize the USB speakers, while padsp, sound
recorder and some other applications only sends audio to the onboard
device. However, Gnome Sound Alerts (via the esd-compat module) channels
it to both via the combined output.
