Comment:

 Please don't attach compressed files to bug reports. There is really no
 need to and makes it hard to read.

 This is an ALSA issue. Due to some reason ALSA signals us an error via
 POLLERR. We then try to reset the audio device via snd_pcm_drop() and
 snd_pcm_prepare() which seems to succeed but then results in POLLERR right
 again apparently.

 Please file a bug against ALSA in Novell's bz and mention the driver/card
 you have plus the explanation I posted here (and link this bug report).
