Comment:

 I believe this has been fixed in a more recent PA snapshot from git. Could
 you verify? If you can reproduce this, please reopen and append valgrind
 output of a build with full debug symbols.

 Instead of fiddling with CWD for coredumps it is probably a batter idea to
 use /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern and to redirect the dumps into a fixed
 syste directory.

 BTW: it's not recommended to use gdbm anymore as database. Use tdb
 instead.
