 Hello there.

For some time (spanning for a few weeks) I've been having problems with my
sound crackling and popping in a more random than static way. I've tried
 PA 0.9.16 - 0.9.18 (which I'm currently at) along with ALSA 1.0.17 -
1.0.21 to no avail. I'm running Ubuntu Karmic Alpha, upgraded from a
Jaunty installation a few weeks back (I actually upgraded to see if that
 would fix my problems).

I also attached a pulseaudio -vvvv output from startup of PulseAudio and a
small snippet from weird rewinds that is occuring (driver does not allow
pulseaudio to rewind as much as it wants to?). Could it be that the driver
doesn't clear the buffer on the card entirely, and it fills up with "old"
 data?

If I'm missing anything, please let me know.
