 I experience the same skipping audio issue on Lucid Lynx with...

 pulseaudio 0.9.22~0.9.2
 pulseaudio-module-raop 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu14

 ...and happy to try various things if anyone has any ideas.
