Comment(by coling):

 @murz: The card profiles are saved in a database file in ~/.pulse/ It will
 likely end in card-database.tdb (although the file extension may be
 different). The filename will be prefixed with the dbus machine id (to
 keep it unique to your machine). I can't think why it wouldn't be
 restored, so you should check to make sure those files are there.

 You would likely still have to set:
 {{{
 default-sample-rate = 48000
 enable-lfe-remixing = yes
 }}}

 but the others should be fine as their defaults.
