If blocker means that a user cannot use pulseaudio then this is applicable.
I am unable to locate a version number because pulseaudio advises me no
connection.

Each and every time that I try to config Pulseaudio for my system it fails.
Pulseaudio wants to use a HDMI connection but the connection is not in use. It
refuses to remain configured to my needs. Now it is disabled. I have made
~/.pulseaudio forbidden.

I have used the manager, Capture and Playback volume control and phonon in
systemsettings but soon after modyfing the settings I get a KDE message telling
me the connection does not work and the devices will be removed.

I would use HDMI except my speakers do not have a HDMI connection.

Pulseaudio with my setup is totally flawed and unuseable.
