             Bug #: 45029
Summary: Pacmd documentation is in the wrong place and outdated
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: PulseAudio
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: tools
        AssignedTo: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: tanuk at iki.fi
         QAContact: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
                CC: lennart at poettering.net

I think "man pacmd" should either contain the CLI reference documentation or
point to another man page that contains the documentation. Currently the pacmd
manual page points to the man page for default.pa for details, which I guess is
fine. What is not so fine is that "man default.pa" points further to
http://pulseaudio.org/wiki/CLI, which is out of date. The wiki page could be
updated, but my opinion is that any reference documentation should be shipped
with the Pulseaudio source code.
