            Bug ID: 92493
Summary: gnome-shell: connecting to a phone through bluetooth
                    shows microphone slider
           Product: PulseAudio
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: core
          Assignee: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: allanpday at gmail.com
        QA Contact: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

GNOME 3.16/Fedora 22: when I connect to my phone via Bluetooth, a microphone
slider is shown in the system menu. This is a little disturbing: I've never
used my phone as a microphone for my computer. I don't know why I'd ever use my
phone as a microphone. It feels like the microphone is in use without my
consent, and I'm being listened to.

I've been told that this issue is due to PulseAudio using the headset profile
for phones by default, hence I'm filing the bug here.
