The problem is that the settings are available /only/ via the group. You need
to be able to distinguish between a "restore group" and a "restore id". So
instead of adding only a group label you also need to add a label unique for
every sink input. That way you can reapply the settings of the original sink
input to the remapped one and still apply group settings to newly created
streams when they are initially linked to a sink input.
