<pre>The patches change the search path for relative cookie paths from $(HOME) to
$(XDG_CONFIG_HOME)/pulse or $(HOME)/.config/pulse, depending on whether
XDG_CONFIG_HOME is set or not. So if you use "auth_key=.pulse-cookie", the
resulting path is $(HOME)/.config/pulse/.pulse-cookie. This is an intentional
and necessary change.
Is there a reason why you must use $(HOME)/.pulse-cookie?</pre>
