<pre>What if you don't set the auth-cookie parameter at all? We still have code that
checks the legacy cookie location, i.e. $(HOME)/.pulse-cookie if nothing else
is configured.
It wouldn't be out of question to extend the legacy location handling also for
configured relative paths. Maybe I should do that...</pre>
