When using mplayer -ao pulse video.mp4, the video is reproduced correctly, but
if I pause and unpause, or seek, mplayer will freeze. The only way to recover
from this is killing mplayer.

There is no such problem when using alsa directly.

My system consists of:
pulseaudio 5.0
linux 3.15.0
alsa-lib 1.0.27

The sound card is HDA Nvidia.
