Same issue playing a wav file. Pulseaudio verbose log
If it can be useful, I have the exact same problem simply playing a song in wav
format with paplay. The command is:
sudo -u pi paplay --volume=50000 /home/pi/Desperado.wav
If I play the song with pulseaudio running as a daemon, the CPU used by
pulseaudio squirts to 87%, and there is no sound, but if I run it with:
LANG=C pulseaudio -vvvv --log-time=1 > ~/pulseverbose.log 2>&1
the song feels latencies, sobs and accelerated.
I enclose the pulseaudio verbose log, hoping it will be useful.</pre>
