I use raspberry Pi2. after cd pulseaudio-5.0 ./configure --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --disable-bluez4 make sudo make install and at the end sudo ldconfig I am attaching the init script with which I run pulseaudio as system mode. I also wanted to ask further explanation. I use shairport-sync as Airplay emulator. The audio output of shairport-sync is fixed on pulse. In this way I lose synchronization between Airplay devices and my raspberry.
