If so, that's a separate bug. This bug is mainly caused by a phantom internal
speaker. (Well, at least very likely so, if Mike submits alsa-info I can tell
for sure.)
HDMI will continue to work if there are no other outputs with higher priority.
Which is the typical scenario for an HTPC or desktop, and which I believe is
the least bad option at this point.
