Thank you for your answer,it helped a lot, and sorry for the double
post....
No it doesn't work with padsp either, it says '/dev/dsp cannot be
mmap'ed'. I even tried to modify the code commenting out all
snd_mmap_commit and setting the parameter ro
SND_PCM_ACCESS_RW_INTERLEAVED but no luck... segmentation fault.
dmix seems to be the only solution.
Anyway it's only a game .....
