If you are a windows developer and have taken an interest in pulseaudio,
then it would be great to see some windows based loved for it.

The binaries could do with being updated (and no doubt would require a
little patching) and a great addition woudl be a windows audio driver
that acted as a pulse client to give transparent support for pulseaudio
on windows in the same way that the alsa plugin does on linux.

All the above said, I thought windows vista had a funky audio subsystem?
I've not used it myself but I thought it would have been able to do this
kind of thing by default.
