Oh sorry for the FUD there.

Last time I tried with a headset it wasn't working and I thought I'd not 
seen any specific patches in this area since, but I'm obviously not 
looking closely enough.

I've only really tested with my hifi+bluetooth in recent times which, 
for rather obvious reasons, doesn't support recording :p
