[pulseaudio-discuss] Fwd: Ticket #5473: audio out, PulseAudio

Forwarding for attention of interested pulseaudio devs.

The mythtv project is having a lot of ups and downs with respect to
synchronization under pulseaudio, to the point of mythtv bailing out and
exiting if it sees a pulseaudio server that it might interfere with, which
is obviously non-ideal.

It would be great to see some cooperation on this front.

 Update: I got it to output sound using PulseAudio:default (fiddled with
 system configuration, not sure what made it work), but somewhat
 intermitently.  The sync really is not ideal, as advertised.
