Yeah, seems to be this small vala app there. I don't speak vala but it looks
like it should be constantly running.

So the code doesn't look as promising as I first thought.

I have no idea what the expectations of a dialog are and if the Desktop
Notifications Specification fulfils them.

I'm out of suggestions. Carry on. :p
