Salutations,

I recently plugged in a 5.1 HDMI receiver into an Intel Haswell system
via HDMI. When using the sound settings in Gnome3 to test the individual
speakers, I find that the front speakers are echoing content to the rear
speakers (with a small delay). I'd like to know how to stop this since
it makes the audio distorted to some listeners.
